PLAINTIFFS

We are incredibly grateful to the League of Women Voters of Utah, Mormon Women for Ethical Government, and principled individual voters for taking a stand against gerrymandering and bringing this lawsuit against the Utah State Legislature. It takes courage and resolve to sue in a court of law, and we feel privileged to provide financial support to these upstanding partners.

Mormon Women for Ethical Government

Mormon Women for Ethical Government (MWEG) is a membership organization composed of a politically diverse group of women of faith committed to building a more peaceful, just, and ethical world. Through education, advocacy, and outreach, MWEG empowers women to rise above partisanship and advocate for ethical government.

League of Women Voters of Utah

The League of Women Voters (LWVUT) is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization working to protect and expand voting rights and ensure everyone is represented in our democracy. They empower voters and defend democracy through advocacy, education, and litigation, at the local, state, and national levels. LWVUT members collected signatures during the Prop 4 ballot initiative phase, helped to get out the vote, actively participated in Independent Commission meetings, and testified in front of the Legislature.
