BETTER BOUNDARIES STATEMENT ON DISTRICT COURT MOTION TO STAY

SALT LAKE CITY – Better Boundaries Executive Director Katie Wright issued the following statement on the Utah District Court granting motion to delay proceedings in gerrymandering case:
“Our resolve and commitment to the majority of Utah voters who demanded gerrymandering reform won’t be deterred by legal delays and procedural changes. Our focus in this case moves now to the Utah Supreme Court and our message remains consistent. Utahns want transparency and accountability from our elected officials. We look forward to the day when Utah voters can finally pick their own politicians, not the other way around.”
